After the Robot Chicken panel, we head outside for a cigarette break and to get some air - that leather mask is hot!
This guy comes over to join us and says we should go over to the Adult Swim after party. He gives us some passes, and neither M or I realized (at first - because he was wearing these big sunglasses) that it was Jackson Publick, one of the creators of the Venture Bros! So we all hang together for a while, enjoy a smoke, talk about the show, the con, what have you...
He's got some other pix on his camera where he's handcuffed to the Magic Murder Bag. I have to see if he can email me one...
The con was pretty much over at that point, so we had to decide... Eisner Awards or super-cool Adult Swim Invite Only Party Super-Fun Time on the roof of Petco Park?? Hmm... can you guess which we chose? There's something liberating about strolling through the streets of the Gaslamp Quarter of San Diego in a ridiculous costume...
